    Deepchandi structure

    Deepchandi (also written Dipchandi or Deepchandi Tal) has 14 matras grouped into vibhags of 3, 4, 3, 4. A fourteen-matra light taal in 3+4+3+4, used in thumri and light classical music. A theka is the bol pattern played over the cycle.
