    Jhumra structure

    Jhumra (also written Jhoomra or Jhumra Tal) has 14 matras grouped into vibhags of 3, 4, 3, 4. A slow fourteen-matra taal in 3+4+3+4, often used for vilambit (slow) pieces. A theka is the bol pattern played over the cycle.
